Our Admissions Committee uses a collection of documents to decide grade placement. These include the application, two years of school reports, student referral form from the current school, and the admissions assessment. First and foremost, however, we begin by using our grade placement charter and go from there.
No, that is not necessary. Our admissions assessment is the MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) screener which consists of 20 reading questions and 20 math questions. They are computer-generated artificial intelligence questions. We use this method to see how students will fit into a specific grade cohort.

Students graduating (matriculating) from AISCT receive an American High School Diploma that is accredited by the Western Association of Colleges in the USA and recognized by the Western Cape Education Department. Students are able to apply to universities in South Africa, the USA, and all around the world.
